DiMiele’s Island
How to tie a sarong or pareo... Both elegant and casual, the sarong (pareo) is simply the most versatile article of clothing you will ever own! Wear the sarong as a beach wrap, long skirt, fold for a mini skirt, or tie behind the neck for a cool summer dress. Pack a sarong in your suitcase for that tropical vacation. 100% rayon, machine washable. Long Skirt... Wrap the sarong around your hips horizontally, and bring the ends together. Tie into a knot in the front or on the side. For those lucky enough to have hips under about 36 inches, you can double wrap the sarong and tie in a small knot.

Mini Skirt... Fold the sarong in half horizontally. Wrap the sarong around your hips and bring the ends together. Fold one corner in and the other corner out about one inch, gather and slowly pull and tie into a knot on the side or in front. Dress... Wrap the sarong horizontally over your chest. Twist the ends of the sarong once, then pull slowly and tie around your neck or over your shoulder. Eliminate the twist to create another style. |
